^^^ I agree. Although we have strength in numbers, this needs to be considered.

Strength in numbers but a couple of state troopers or sheriff's won't hesitate to eat your *** alive, seen it happen before on a taco run in houston

Wink ... just for fun ...

Follow these rules and you should not have a problem no matter where you are in the groups:

I'm not sure why it would, we are meeting in McKinney and headed EAST to Wills Point Tx.

Wink .. Hint Hint for all ....

Starting Point: will be in McKinney Texas somewhere off I-75
Ending Point: will be at the 4 Winds Steakhouse in Wills Point Texas off I-20

We will be driving on mostly deserted 2 lane country roads for approx 2 hours. We will be passing through a few small towns, towns that are so small they most likey do not even have a police station ( I say this because in the years I have driven this route I have never needed or seen a LEO other than in McKinney ) This is not to say that if you pass Mrs.Daisy at a buck-fifty she wouldn't find it nessasary to call up "Buster" and the boys and find a way to cause us trouble!

There are not many " shoulders" to pass on through this route but there are several straightaways that with some radio feedback, passing will be safe.

more to follow

That description sounds great, I'm getting excited about this!

I've been puttering around for a couple years in a lexus and finally got a fast car again, this will be the first real outing with her.

for most people, its just show up and enjoy a nice drive and lunch, but a lot of time and effort goes into organizing these events and its all done free of charge for the simple reason of being car enthusiasts. so lets give steve a hand
