OMG! The ticking sound huh??? Don't worry, my Z06 will need the same thing soon....

Since the P-Car is out of operation, you might need to drive my Z around the block so you can smile again....

Whats the ET on the return?

Frank ( GM / Chef ) has set a fixed price lunch menu for the group as well, I will post that menu later in the thread.

We will have at least two groups you can get into. I will lead the first group ( Fast ) and we will leave at 9am sharp. Bara will lead the second group ( Faster ) and leave at 9:10a sharp. We may add a 3rd group as needed.

My group will be nicely paced and suitable for SO's that want to come along.

We are looking at a minimum of 40 ppl as this is the minimum rezo since they are opening up for us special.

Please post up if you can make it out and how many ppl you are bringing out, car driving, etc.

Heading east get's you onto much nicer roads much sooner and for the duration of the trip. There isn't a long stretch of just highway, the part I didn't like about the PK trip. IMHO

thats good to know. im always looking for nice roads. the only thing for me though is that i have close to an hour of highway driving just to get to the starting point. which is no big deal really but the PK starting point was right in my back yard.

im still a sucker for the western counties though with dem big hills

speaking of highway driving, i took my wife all the way to Marble Falls to catch 1143 back to austin and then onto lime creek road. that was 3+ hours to get to the starting point but well worth it in my book and i want to do it again when time allows.

NOTES:

1. For everyone that is RSVP'ing... We are counting on you to make not just the drive, but the lunch itself. I have had to pre-pay the entire lunch for everyone in order to secure the event. ( I don't mind, I just want everyone to show )

2. The exact starting point will be announced , but know that it will be in the area of I75 and Hwy 380 in McKinney

3. When you arrive at starting point please:
a. Have a FULL tank of fuel BEFORE getting staged
b. Make sure you car is in good conditon to make this drive, tires, brakes etc
c. Bring a FRS Radio.. makes it so we can all " talk " and advise of road conditons
