Hi FI gurus !!!

Can someone please explain me what is a KKK K24/18G.


I understand it's basically a modified KKK K24 turbo ( the stock one found on the 996 turbo)


but why is it called an hybrid ??

Because its a hybrid. Its not a straight K24, it has an 18g turbine. The 18g was popular back in the day in the DSM circles. Quicker spool then a straight k24.

 

Big power of the k24's but with the quick spool of the 18's. That means big power with no turbo lag.
