Alarm arm/disarm feedback

This maybe a dumb question but I don't like the fact that on a 997 you can accidentally press the arm on the key twice and you locked and then unlocked the car. No audible feedback either. Any suggestions?

I believe all cars will relock themselves if no door is open with a minute or two. You can try it out. Lock the car. Then unlock the car. Do not open any door and within a few minutes the car should relock. The same goes for the trunk/boot. If the car is locked and you open the trunk/boot then close the trunk/boot the car should relock itself.
To get an audible signal you can leave the center console open and the horn will beep. If you like that them you can push the little silver switch trigger down pass the plastic catch and the will keep the switch in the open position but you can now close the console. The only thing that will not be arm is the center console. If you have a cab this might not be a good idea.
