Yellowing headlight lens 996TT

I had a little fender bender requiring a new headlight for my '02 996TT. Found one but they say it has some yellowing of the headlight cover. I'm wondering how to polish this back to clear. Mine are still perfect. Any help?

3m makes a headlight refinishing kit. It comes with a pad you attach to a drill and some sort of wax to use while polishing the headlights. I saw it at pepboys the other day grabbing wiperblades

If you dont have an orbital buffer, your closest detailer would. He can do it in 3 minutes with a yellow pad and a cutting polish

I used this 3M Kit, it worked very well, my headlights now look new! My lights weren't that yellow but it took me a really long time to do it. One kit should be OK, i would buy p1000, p2000 before u use the p3000disc that comes in the kit. I found that after going to p800-p3000 i could still see some scratches after i polished it.
