Replacing plugs 996TT

Fair question...sorry I left out that info. It was not running well. This was not on a stock motor though. He had Pauter rods, larger turbos and was running high boost. He replaced the Iridiums with NGKs recommended by Todd Knighton and the issue was solved.

Thanks I had my plugs changed before I found this site. I was told it was a 4+ hr book time at a German car mechanic's shop who is a trust worthy guy. He charges $90 and hr and w/ plugs it was about $500.
I guess most anything you do to the engine you have to remove the bumper. Seems like a whole Saturday for some1 who is fairly mechanically inclined and has never done it. In fact I would say if you are not use to working on engines and cars to just take it to a real trust worthy mechanic. I'm looking forward to getting my house remodel finished and then getting back to working on my own cars.

Good reference for my upcoming change on Spark plugs change. I love DIY on any of my cars so this should be fun. I'm just afraid of the codes on Porsches since its all new to me.
Can I upgrade to iridium spark plugs since they last longer so i dont have to change every 30k mi on a 996TT?
