Legal Way to Bed Brakes?
#2
Unfortunately, not the way one SHOULD bed the brakes...you have to do it "light"...do 5-6 65 mph to 5-10 mph stops one right after the other and let the car sit for 30 minutes-1 hr. For what you are doing they will be just fine like that. Lol, in racecars, we just put new pads in, go out for a session with reduced brake feel/power and come back...if its a race, we just stay out lol.

Its not just the top speed. To bed the bed properly, you need repeated high (whatever that is) stops to 10MPH.. Until you get a good stink and then several lesser applications before you drive a bit to let them properly cool off.
BUT
Never mind your top speed, slamming on the brakes on the street is not safe with other cars. You can get away with it on a deserted road (maybe even tweak the limit), but there had better be nobody else on the road behind you or you won't just get a ticket.
You cannot do this on the highway.. Thats for sure.
