Hi, does anyone have a quick recall of what process is to reset (enable) radio in Porsche '03 996 after battery disconnected. I believe there is a code to be entered. Haven't done it in about 3 years and am interested in a quick reminder. Bose sound system. Thank you.

Do you have the code? If not, head over to www.renntech.org and post it there under the Radio Code sticky. Works like a charm.

 

Just punch in the code after the battery change. If you don't have the code, connect a 12v power from a charger while you swap the battery. Otherwise, you will likely need a dealer visit after battery change. There are solutions that plug into your cig lighter too.
