In-Car Video (ChaseCam) of 997TT at Infineon Sears Point

I just got the ChaseCam setup (bullet cam and solid state recorder) integrated with my TraqMate GPS logger. Here's a couple of laps from yesterday at Infineon. I was out there with BMW Club. Lots of traffic, so I got only one clear lap, which is the second lap in the video (2:01 laptime).

I am happy with the setup, but clearly need a polarizing filter to cut on the dash glare.

Better quality (35MB download):

As an aside, does anyone know what is considered a "good" time for a street Turbo?

Awesome quality on that video! Sorry I have no answer to your questions. The track org didn't post laptimes somewhere?

Great video, nice driving, thanks for posting.

There is a laptimes thread in the 996 TT section, I think there may be some infineon times in there, not 997 TT though.

I can add your times to it if you wish.

Yep. That was me. My wife and I shared the car, so she was on track sometimes as well.

Ahh....track days

Hey man. Good video. Saw you go hot into that double right-hander with decreasing radius. I am coming over from the Bimmer world into the Land of the Crest soon and I CAN'T wait for my first track day of the season.

that was fun to watch... ya the quality was stunning.
How does the camera work, is it hooked up to something that shows where you are, and speed and such...

Nice video. I am by no means no authority in the matter, but 2'01" at Sears Point sounds very respectable to me for HPDE conditions on street tires, especially given the lack of run off areas. I was lapping a bit slower on my first track day there with the GT3.
My video set-up is less sophisticated than yours, using a suction cup with an external mike in the central console. Another video from Laguna Seca last week-end.
