for the 2006 model year, yes. In 2007, the exige had a s/c and about 30 hp more at the crank. the Exige has about 100lbs of downforce t 100 mph where the Elise has 8 lbs downforce.
In 2008, there is an upgraded Exige called the 240S. Upgraded a few things, but most notably it has an additional 20 hp. For 240 at the crank.
The Elise and the Exige 240S are not on the same page at all.
In summary,
2006, basically the same page, different paragraph
2007, Not on the same page, same book
2008, Two different planets.

I hear they are pretty reliable and will last a long time without giving significant problems but things such as entry/exit being more of a graceful fall, or ammenities and the lack there or as well as space make it almost impossible to have as your only car. Otherwise I think one of these would be great.

what are the sizes for the 18's? that you ar running or are you running 19's..with 18's in the rear, i assume the tires are either 35 or 30 profile which makes for a lower profile setup wheel and tire...i heard from Derrick who runs his balck carrera s also pulls away from me and he says that it may be the 18's as they give him a little extra down the straights?
and what size tires are you running now....
thanks
trying to get the tires before May Chin
don't want to get the MSPC's as they are way expensive and apparently don't last and take a long time to warm up...

I drive on 18's at the track Toyo RA1's. I drive to an dfrom the track on these. There is a lot of tire info over on rennlist.com in the racing and DE forum.
245/40/18 front and 305/35/18 rear. This is the same diameter as the low profile stock 19's.
MKK did you sign up for the PBOC Datona DE Oct31-Nov2? We will all be there and it will be a great hang. You should get on the track guys e-mailing list with all of us.

I am running the factory 19" wheels. I have tried the Michelins Sport cups before and they dont last ****!!!! I went to the Pirelli Corsa r compound and I love them. Also, I drove to and from the track with the track tires on.
Also, sign up for Daytona......it seems a great deal of us are going.
