Here's our very own TopGun in his last trackday in the black MazdaSpeed3 (400hp)... I try to keep up but the power deficit is just too great and he's on fresh Kumho 710s... I really wonder how bad I'm going to get raped once his UMW STG4996TT is ready....

Here I'm fighting with a supercharged CTS-V with roughly 550hp.... late braking really helps with this one but that damn HP deficit... I do fight until the last minute's pass...

Not to make excuses...but I must....
The Elise is on 3yr old YokoA048s... like rocks and the power is obviously down on my competition. I'm considering a supercharger - about 70whp for $6K, but I think I'd be best served with better tires and stiffer coilovers (I prefer a stiffer set-up).

Cool footage - I haven't run that configuration since I did an SCCA HPDE event back in 2005. I was instructing for NASA/PDA @ Lime Rock a few weeks ago - that CTS-V may have been the same one last July @ the Pocono Long Course. If it was, there was a father / son team driving - the father was in the upper groups and the son was my student - they were running Hoosier R6's last year.
