Arrive & Drive Programs

I'm looking for some info on Arrive and Drive programs. I'd like to get an idea of what to expect in terms of cost, type of support provided at the track, track prep, etc. Any positive/negative experiences? What to watch out for? Any do's and don'ts. Basically any insight would be appreciated...

Try www.motorsportreg.com and work backwards from there. I am assuming that you want to show up and drive a race rental and not your own car. We have a few in the NE that offer race spec Miata rentals for aroud $800 per day, plus the track fee that everybody else pays.

Actually, I was looking for info when you use your own car. Transportaion to and from tracks, setup prior to an event and support during the event. Looking on the net very few shops post pricing on these services. I was trying to get a better idea of what to expect in terms cost and available services.

OK, got it. I know who does it around here but not where you are. You could try Farbacher Loles in Ct as a start, they may be able to point you to someone in your area. I know they do it around here.

Send me a PM. Our 944 S2 (Racer's Edge) won three races within class and 1st overall at VIR. We offer full support and will rent you a car that can win it's class. We also have a pro-driver that assists with our motorsports program.

TRG has been doing Arrive & Drive for a while now with great success.

All the info is on their site.

Manalex, we can arrange for the service you're asking for at my October VIR event. My last event at CMP we had about 6 customers that did ust what you are looking to do. We arranged transportation, unloading, track side support and fueling, loading and delivery back. I even booked hotels and made dinner reservations! And for one unlucky Gallardo driver, I called for a livery service and got her a flight home!

Glen Long provided spec Miatas for rent for some drivers. We arranged the details but Glen's business is geared towards rentals and support so it worked very well.

We had arrive and drive customers from NH, Pittsburg, Boston, NY and Jersey. PM me if you'd like more info.
Mark
