Has anyone been to a trackday at Infineon? How does it compare to Thunderhill?

I've done a couple trackdays at T-hill but I've never been to Infineon. I'm going there for the first time soon and is wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect. Esp in relation to thunderhill because that's the only track I've been on.

Thanks!

Infineon vs Thunderhill

I've driven quite a bit at Infineon and Thunderhill mainly with Nasa HPDE and a few days with the Audi Club. Thunderhill is fun in spots, but Infineon is a blast - kind of like you are on a high speed roller coaster especially in turns 3-6. It would be good to watch some youtube videos of Infineon, plus if they are available during your trackday, have an instructor ride along with you if they are available. If there are different groups running, then try to see if you can be a passenger in one of the other groups - hopefully an instructor will be running in one of the fastest groups, and if you ride along, then feeling the line at high speed is very helpful. - Jim

Thunderhill is a more forgiving (only one barrier wall Turn 15 to avoid) track with lots of spin offs.

Infineon, on the otherhand, is alot more technical, more walls, and the turns seem to come up really fast. Get an instructor to show you the lines your first time out, otherwise the technical aspects of the track will frustrate you. Once mastered, Infineon can be the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
