HCP Advanced and Novice DE at Lime Rock 4/16 - 4/17
The Hudson-Champlain Region will be hosting an Advanced Driver Education event at Lime Rock Park on Friday, April 16. This is an event for White, Black and Red run group drivers (White run group drivers must have completed a minimum of 6 track days in the White run group prior to the event) wishing to get maximum track exposure and an opportunity to “test and tune” prior to the PCA Club Races on April 23-24. This is a shared day with Club Lime Rock and drivers can expect to get about 2 hours of track time (from 4 scheduled 30 minute sessions).
Then on Saturday will be hosting a Novice Driver Education event at Lime Rock Park. This is an event for beginner and novice drivers wishing to get Lime Rock track experience. Each of the three run groups, Green (all drivers instructed), Yellow (a mix of instructed and solo drivers) and Red (all instructors), are scheduled for 4 (four) 20-minute on-track sessions staggered throughout the day. Classroom sessions to review theory and provide extra instruction will also be part of the schedule. This event, with a limited number of drivers and conveniently scheduled on a Saturday, is a great opportunity for novice drivers who want to experience a DE.
This year we will be using ClubRegistration.net for all event registration. For additional information, contact Don Schneider, Track Chair, at track@hcp-pca.com or Jim Morgan, Registrar, at registrar@hcp-pca.com.
We hope you will join us for these great DE events at Lime Rock this spring.
