Wow. I find this time really hard to believe in a stock 350Z. What is your definition of stock? I am not saying you are not capable of running such times; you may very well be just this fast.

My 2005 350Z with breathing mods (NA) Stock suspension 3500 lbs (passenger and driver included) making 275whp on NT01's can only muster a 2.06 lap. I feel I’m at the absolute limit of the vehicles. Mind you I’m also running 275 size tires al around.

Some clarification on this time would be great. if this was done on a factory spec show room stock cars on some Hankook C91, then some pointers would be helpful.

BW 13 CW = 2.06
SOW CCW = 1.28
Calispeedway Interior course = 1.18 ( RA1's on their way out.)

The C91's alone could easily = the 3 second improvement over the NT01.

Definition of stock: 2003 Touring (Bose w changer and all speakers and the sub, heated power seats, power everything) with 121.000 miles on it, never touched a shock or spring, non-Brembo brakes that lasted 4 laps this very hot day, and no aspiration mods = 287hp fhp, if they were still all there that is. One big "mod", an Autopower bolt in roll-cage (120lbs?) since the car had just started being used for some drift practice where a cage with sidebar was mandatory.

On the competitive side, Hankooks are radd and equal tire sizes front and rear definitely made up for some of the inborn understeer of the Z. The ones I used were a pair of used ones, raced a month earlier by someone else at time attack Cali Speedway so even if the peak grip of the tires were used up I'd still rank them pretty high.
