SoCal racers - track times...

Those in SoCal/Central Cal, even NorCal - what are your best times on the local tracks?

I'll start:

(these all in my stock 2005 Boxster S with R compound tires)

Streets of Willow:
Clockwise with bowl - 1:30.19
Counterclockwise w/bowl - 1:31.22

Willow Springs (big track):
1:39.15

Buttonwillow (config 13 clockwise):
2:06.80

California Speedway infield (no part of the oval)
1:17.15

I turned a 1:40 and a few pennies at Streets in the Mas with bald front OEM tires. I was kind of disappointed that...it just pushed too damn much.

BW guys - which turn 3 are you doing? There's the newly paved part, and there is buttonhook. We do buttonhook and 2:02 is faster than even the GT3 cup cars are doing with our group, I think...

Do you mean OFF RAMP? I believe the new buttonhook is only for counter clockwise. My avg at BW 13CW
is 2:03

if that's your average time for 13CW you should be driving in speedworld challenge and probably podium.

at Buttonwillow 2:02's or :03's is fast relatively speaking. But not OMG crazy times.

My miata on NT01s #13 Clockwise on 3 blown shocks making 240 whp does sub 2:02's all day in 90+ degree heat.

I've put a NA RSX under 2 minutes there in good conditions. If you know a World Challenge team looking for a driver, let me know. lol

2:02 is not fast at all, a speed world challenge touring car did 1:55 last year at Super Street Time Attack

here's last year result from Super Street Time Attack (Buttonwillow 13CW)
