Sorry, what i mean is do you have to remove the engine in order to fit or can it be done with engine still in the car?

 

Over the last two years testing has been done on an engine dyno. Neil has told me all the parts fit in the compartment constraints as well as allow for all the other existing motor parts and accessories. I will ask Neil your question regarding weather or not the motor needs to be lowered or removed to install the plenum.

My guess is the motor would have to at least be lowered.

It now appears we are heading down the home stretch. We are sending some parts to PD for preparation for the engine dyno testing.

Will have some pics of the CD, Coils and Link Engine Management system soon.

I use to converse with Robert a lot. What a wealth of information. He helped me on many matters. I just spoke with Robert. He wanted to know if the motor would have a life expectancy of more than five minutes.

His other question was what type of fuel tank we were using.

You don't have enough money to afford Chad's KA kit!

 

That would be interesting. Subtracting the research and development I would come up with an approximate costs for materials/parts only.

 

Update:

We are progressing with the manifold tooling. I hope to have time line this
week. It's not as quick to come as the new design is quite involved now and
will take a little time to get all manufacturing costs in line. Printing is
almost complete. It has taken a lot more material than we had originally
calculated, so waiting for more to arrive has added to the delay.

In the meantime, the tooling has been started in order to get some idea of
time and delivery.

I wish it was a lot more simple, but the making of this is an outside source
and the good ones are very busy and we have to be patient.

3rd I wasn't really saying you can't afford it more like this thing has cost Chad so much that I am sure he doesn't want to add it up!

 

I am pretty sure that he isn't going to sell a kit to exactly match his after all of the development money he spent. Plus I would also be willing to be that he is going to be keeping his proprietary secrets to himself.
