Twelve years and hundreds of modifications has required this motor to be disassembled and reassembled eight times. A 2001 4.3L TT that is up to date with cutting edge 2016 technology. I'll be looking forward to taking her to the track. It will be interesting to see what she can really do.

My everyday vehicle is a 99' Chevy Silverado. I have had it since new and it has 222,000 miles on the clock. There is also Bentley, Mercedes and RR in the garage, all with little milage. Still have the other older exotics stored in a warehouse.

Since we last met, I have been blessed with two grandsons and one grand daughter.

Yes, I drove the Sable until it broke. It previously belonged to my best friend, Mike Maring, prior to his death in 2004. Currently three grand kids.

I haven't been on here for a very long time. Just stopped back by to check on this car/thread. I guess I shouldn't be surprised the updates haven't stopped.

Can't wait to see the final product and figures.

Congrats on the grand kids!

After testing we had to make some modifications to the water pump impeller. Post 3955 has a pic of the custom designed impellers. You can see the cover off and impeller in one pic. The 95 mm TB worked very well with the 4.3L displacement and the matched breathing from the TB to the runners to the combustion chambers.

Due to the size of the throttle body this is what was required to make the oil filter fit. Look how tight everything is with the 95 mm TB.
