Liquid CO2 controller. You'll have to pardon the dust.

Sorry I haven't come over yet. Somepoint this weekend ok with you? I was swapping out my PSS9s for the JICs past couple of days... |
sharky, you are going to JICs? What spring rate do you have on them, the originals or the new revised spring rates?
|
sharkster,
Now you have my curiosity up? ;) |
Chad, when you see Alex's switch keep in mind I use mine as a garage door opener.

It looks STOCK which is the cool thing. I'll show you next time. I was going to do some radio shak "nasty" switches but Stephen was having NONE of that and made it look really clean/stock so you can't even tell. There's a dummy switch on the bottom left, which he rigged up for activation and then we used the rear wiper button for "purge"....

sharkster,
Rob delivered my rear bumper yesterday. Sean brought over his 5 mph bumper today. I will be making the parts to lighten the 5 mph bumper along with the micro polished stainless steel vent covers which will take the place of the rear bumper warts. These vents will be flush with the body. :) Should have some pics later this week. |
That sounds sweet!!! Sorry my wife's taken a new job last week so I've not been able to come over. Early this week tho;)

Sharky, let me know how you like it and what you end up getting it set to.
I can take a fair amount of pain but the car set to 10 and 12 was just too damn harsh. Now it is at 9 and 8 and works nice . |
Well, we are going to push the envelope again. This time in the handling department. Originally KA had 8x18's and 11 x 18's. We then went to 8.5 x 18's and 11.5 x 18's. Then came 9.5 x 18's and 12.0 x 18's. At the beginning of the year we put 12.5 x 18's on the rear.
With each change the turn in became better. The car continued to handle better. Recently, S Car Go racing determined they could fit 10 x 18's up front. Funny thing is when the 9.5's were fitted up front I was told that was all the wheel the 996tt could handle. Oh well, we are going to give the 10.0 x 18's a try. Michelin Motorsports says the turn in will definitely improve even more. :) |
Good stuff Chad, I know some stuff needs to be changed. My 9.5 265s have rubbed some nice holes in there:)

I do not have any rubbing problems. Yes, we did change some things. I want to keep the MPSC 265's but I want to use 10 x 18 wheels up front for obvious reasons.:) |
chad:
have you widebodied your car??? b/c I'm thinking about switching back to 18 as well... i don't have enough grip... am also thinking about widebodying the car 1+ inch each side at front, and 2+ inch each side at rear... what sorts of stuff needs to be done in able to fit wider wheels in there?????? ^___^ perhaps i'll follow ur route to use 10x18 at front...and possibly 13+ at rear |
