As for the spare motor. The internals are stock except shuffle pinned, GT3 oil pump, 102 mm Woessner pistons/barrels and Pauter rods.

CJV, Speed Gallery offers these intake plenums for both the OEM 996TT TB and the 75mm 996NA TB. I use the 75mm 996NA TB and corresponding intake plenum.
Sharky, I have no idea how much the intake plenum costs by itself. I purchased mine as part of an entire intake system. Call SG at (818) 766-2321.

cjv You should read the August issue of 911 & Porsche World. There is an arcticle about how 9ff is building their high HP motors. They talk about oval pistons, Nikasil coated steel cylinder liners, etc. Pretty interesting.
