Aftermarket stereos w/USB jump drive inputs
Does anyone have one? Any complaints? Thinking of picking one up for my truck (double DIN) because the trance mixes I like won't fit on CD in WAV form so I am forced to buy a new stereo that reads MP3's anyway. I figure why bother buying the blank CD's then......any brand recommendation?
Thanks.
Thanks.

AVIC D3 (and other current Pioneer units) have a usb thumbdrive optional unit/component.
The interface is not that wonderful... on the USB unit....the head units are nice.
CD-UB100 is the USB adapter sub-unit.... google on this and the manufacturer and you'll find reviews.
Good luck.

My Kenwood DNX7100 has a USB port--I've never used it though. Looking at the manuals, it seems to be exactly the same as filing through a DVD of MP3's--nothing too fancy.
You don't need to buy a separate interface.
I'm sure the newer version is probably quite similar:

The iPod interface is awesome though, it even plays the videos if you have the proper cable.
