Radar Detectors - What Is The Best One Out There?
#31
I've had the laser jammer work on many occasions. Wall Township in NJ uses laser and the jammer has saved me many times. The price is $1,300 installes but it was worth it to me. The Boxster's extremely angled windshield causes a normal radar detector to block a large range of view. The K40 is integrated into the head and taillights and has never failed me.
Wow! $1300 for install. I can't see myself putting out that much money to jam cops.

I use the V1, had one for the last 10 years, and they are great. Also using a laser shifter. But recently, this has caught my eye(seems to be "the next generation" in radar).

Yes, it's expensive. But if you want the best then.... you get the idea. Not for every one.

It's not a bad feature. Most radar users tend to look at where the signal is coming from and the V1 is the only one that allows you to do that.

radarking, we get it you like the v1. The test you keep referring to is almost 2 years old.
The 9500 ci and srx were not used in that comparison, the V1 has no laser jamming capabilities. Lets keep this open.
However, I do have 2 V1's and they have performed well.
