More HP from GT3

Is it possible to get 30 more RWHP from a 05 GT3. I have changed the factory gearing to cup gears and a LWFW. I love this car and want to keep it. What about a SC and slightly lower compression pistons?

I have read about a few folks attempting this. The car has 6600 miles on it and will never see a race track. I'm really interested in 4000-7000 RPM preformance improvement.

Please don't tell me I'm crazy like the doctors have said!

Some headers and an ECU flash might give you some more power. My car dynoed at 372 to the rear wheels (mustang dyno) with headers, highflow cats, mufflers (all are Milltek) a BMC filter, and the Giac flash.

Thanks Luis. I've got the BMC filter but hope to add the headers this summer, and probably the highflow cats too.
You have impressive RWHP numbers!

Hi, We can lower the compression and add twin turbos intercoolers and all intake/exhaust piping. Re tune your ecu and set you up with 50 hp or what ever amount you wish.
Here to assist,
Tim

You want to go nuts and keep it normally aspirated. Do the CARGRAPHIC or MANTHEY RACING 3.9 litre conversion. Best conversions bar none.

Best thing would be to probably chip it, I don't know much about the GT3's or what boost they run at stock, but chipping always gives a good amount of power from a remap. GIAC/APR/MTM/any of the above, but i do not think many tune the GT3 yet, so good luck!

They run 0 lbs of boost.

Giac has been making software for Gt3's since 04. That is what I had on mine and it picked up about 7 rwhp with it. The Milltek headers picked up the most power for me on my car.

yup yup
gt3 and gt3 rs - na 415 hp
gt2 - turbo 550hp.. from what I understand it's basically a gt3 with a tt motor a couple more psi, maybe exhaust and intake upgrade
gt - n/a lemans v10 612 hp exclusive, has no relationship to the 911 chassis. The car is almost completely made up of carbon even the chassis is carbon.
tt - turbo 480 hp
C4S - 355hp stnd 911 chassis awd 3.8L
S - 355hp stnd 911 chassis rwd 3.8L
stnd 911 - 325hp 3.8L

my understanding correct me if I'm wrong

edit: this is just the 997's

HI... tune and full exhaust about 20-25 rwhp. 6 lbs of boost about 80-100 rwhp. drop compression and add some of this and that...... 750-800 rwhp. Or go with the 3.9l kit for 443 rwhp. Then there is the 4.0l set up that brings 458 rwhp to your right foot. All said and done its all about witch way and how much power is needed to complete your car the one you built your way! Here to assist Tim
