The car looks great with tires, wheels, suspension. I have seen a number in the EU also. They are sweet, but premium priced. Is VW listening to the US market? It seems as there is a substantial number of buyers who would love to see the Scroc and the new Golf GTR here in the USA, but there seems to be no willingness of VW to import. They seem to be more interested in bringing in the next Phaeton or Routan mini van. I guess they don't feel the US market can support the models or they don't want to extend the brand into a slightly different direction. The funny thing is, the tooling, design, etc is complete. Other than saftey/emmissions, they should be pretty straight forward to import. Both models run on a tried and tested platform, so I can't see that these are the issues. Interesting point, the customers for these cars wont buy another model from VW. I currently own an 08 R32 and had an 04 prior. I am ready for a new vehicle but will move on to another brand because the GTR is not available and no one knows when...

High-res ha?

Nice ***:
Sitting on AMG wheels!

Why not importing it by yourself?
We also drive American cars over here in Europe, so why not?! :P

Ok, it is expensive to buy a car over here (even the same make and model, like the Golf/Rabbit USA)

Awesome looking car. The white slammed with blue wheels is one of the ugliest cars ever. The blue on in the last pics is also terrible. Stretched tires and that low looks so bad. Lets spend money to make the car handle like SHI* and steer like it too. I will never get this. For some reason the VW crowd loves it htough. I have a MKV GTi and I promise I will never make it look has broken suspension and terrible wheels and tires streched to the max.
