I hear ya on that Matt... I have a bunch of R32 guys that have wanted software for awhile but didn't want to do an actual chip which I had available from O.CT for sometime now.
I just got off the phone with Keith and he says it will be on the server 2nd week of February. We as APR distributors usually find out that files end up on the server a few days before they say they will on occasion...

As much as I love R32's, I just don't know why anyone would throw down 35k plus for a car that gives you the same performance as a GTI? Unless you're going to boost the R32, waiting over 6 seconds to hit 60 seems like an eternity for that price compared to an evo or sti!
Glad to see tuning though.......nice job guys!

Unfortunately auto makers don't care about being able to chip the GTI to make it faster than the R32 because in their eyes it voids the warranty. Also some top of the line GTI and Jettas do reach into the 30's

Needless to say I am very excited that this program was released for the R32 and am looking forward to when it goes live.

Stock R32's run sub 6 second 0-60's. Car and Driver as well as Motor Trend recorded a 5.4. The reason people pay for the difference (or at least I did) was for the AWD and the brakes. The handling between the R32 and GTI is a night and day difference. No regrets here.

Different cup of tea altogether! Think of the R32 as a grand touring car compared to the racer-like Evo for example. By the way I had an ABT modified mkV GTI with a K04 and it was faster than the R32. But it's not outright speed that makes the R32, it's general competence in all levels. It might not score full marks everywhere, but it sure is an excellent drive.

Couldn't agree more............STi and Evo are on a completely different level that the R32 will never touch!
I still love the look and feel of the VW, and the styling is far superior to the Japs.

When it comes to the R32, VW prefers quality and reliability over performance. Suburu and Mitsu. prefer the opposite.
FYI VW is building something to compete with the EVO and STI. It's going to be on the Golf Chassis. AWD 270+ turbo charged 2.0T for 2010. It will be available in Germany this year. Think they are calling it the R20
