PS2's went on my 530i today.

The overall difference is so striking that I wish I had made the switch sooner.

You can have those Bridgestones. They are awful.

When it comes to tires who cares about $?

The car is very quiet, handles great, and brakes smoother.

I know RimsTrafficker likes Bridgestones, but I sure don't.

Stick with PS2's. That's my story and I am sticking to it!

Have to tell you that the PS2's made an enormous difference in the car's handling, and they are absolutely silent.

It's a dramatic difference.

What is relevant is that these Bridgstone tires are awful! So who cares about a buyback guaranty? Is Bridgestone going to buy back what is on the car now?

They are being replaced today with Michelin PS2's. I have used Michelins for years w/o ever a problem. I'd never buy Bridgestones!
I don't think I've ever read anyone as continuously clueless about a tire issue. You refer to "Bridgestones" as if it is a model of tire and not a manufacturer that makes 10 different tires to fit your car.

And rational people try to point out the lunacy of 'bridgestones all suck because the tire on my BMW says bridgestone so I am buying PS2'... yet you're adamant.

Pretty funny actually

The Bridgestone 916R's are best tires out so far I had them put on my M6 and I love them there side walls are much stronger than the PS'2 I was going to buy PS'2 but then I found out about these tires and they are the ****.

I've got to agree Bridgestone tires tend to be noisier compared to other brands. I have Falken 452s w 20s TechArt for 1500 miles on my car already. So far i've been satisfied with the Falkens. Quiter than my old Continentals and i hope it will last more than 10k miles on the car. On top of that, it is almost twice cheaper than a set of Michelin PS2s.

tires

I have Bridgestone S-03 Pole Positions on my NSX. They are a great tire and the side walls are very strong. I had Falken 451 Beta on the car before and the S-03's are far superior in build, quality and performance.

I dont know why Bridgestone makes their tires so hard to decipher. They need to come up with cool names to differentiate rather than RE960 or RE050a...I mean I cant even remember those number. It should be no surprise why people are confused.

PS2 are the tires eveyone seems to put on th Porsche and that will be my next tire. All of these people cant be wrong.

Yokohama makes a great tire but they are more expensive than PS2 so why bother spending more money to roll the dice.

My .02

Not all Yokohama's are expensive. The S.drive is one of the most affordable tires on the market.
I agree PS2 is the best. I have Bridgestone RE960 and although they are fine, they can't touch the PS2 I had last year.
