Proper tire size for 8" and 9" widths...

I would like to pick up a set of tires, and have narrowed my choices between the Toyo T1Rs or Bridgestone RE-01Rs (unless anyone knows where to buy Toyo R888s in 265/19 ) I know it is possible to fit 245s and 275s onto 8" and 9" rims, however would this be pushing the limits? I'm assuming 235 and 265 would be the ideal sizes, but unfortunatley the RE-01Rs are not available in these sizes in 19".

Also, I have run 235 Toyo T1Rs on an 8 x 19 rim, and I like the way these fit. They have a bit of a stretched/narrow look to them that I think is more of a Toyo characteristic, since by comparison the Pirelli Pzeros in 235 on an 8" wide rim look rounder? Basically I want to put the widest tire onto these wheels as I can without looking like the tires have been stuffed on.

Thanks for any insight.
