996tt requires " XL " load rating on rears /fronts, How important is this ?

How important is the " xl " rating factor for porsche ? I buy track and street tires.

Not true. Most of the original equipment tires in 225/295 were not XL rated. Standard load is fine, XL just helps.

Hmm, i tried out a set of Nitto's nt01's and was rolling and sliding alot ( they were in 315 sizing ) but still i felt it had a bubble wall instead of a very stiff wall on the tires, so i thought that XL meant it has a stiff wall on the tire and hence helps with tire roll..

Ps- Damon plez try to find some affordable 12 inch width rears. looking for a wider wheel to help stretch out the tire and reduce roll as well.
