A lot weights needed to balance a wheel=Bad Wheel?
Just curious if a set of wheels requires a lot more weights to balance them then what I have seen on other previous aftermarket wheels does that equate to a less quality wheel?
Just curious why certain wheels require so much more weights than others

If the person isn't good at balancing or using the machine, they will be chasing weights allllll dayyyyyy long. Doesn't matter what the wheels cost. I do not tolerate excessive wheels weights.

a lot of times the shop is too lazy to remove the previous weights...I always remove all weights before I let them have a wheel...if you can't do it yourself then specifically instruct them to remove all weights before they mount the new tire and balance...then you will be amazed at how little balance weight good tires and good wheels need

Wheels are new and no weights on them. The tech doing the balancing on a road force balancer claims one wheel is out of whack but I've noticed on the wheels there are excessive weights so just curious if that relates to the quality of the wheels.

there is a better chance that the tire is whack if they are decent wheels...I would take the wheel he said was out of whack to a good wheel repair shop....they can tell you if it is bad...but most wheels, even relatively inexpensive ones are usually pretty true when they are new..they may have damaged that wheel mounting the tire..
