Hankook Ventus V12 Evo?

I am looking to replace my Toyo T1-R's with these tires. Does anyone have and experience with them, good or bad? The other tires that I am considering are Nitto Invo and Vrederstein Sessanta (spelling?).

These are my limited choices due to the 285/30/19 size that I am using in the rear.

Thanks.

I will be receiving a new set of the Hankooks in the next day or two. While I cannot provide personnel experience with them yet my research convinced me that they were certainly worth a try given the very attractive price.

I have the same question. I have had the Michelin Pilot's and Good Year Eagle F1's and each pair wore down at or about six months. The Hankooks are $190.00 each! If I get 6 months, it all good. what do you think?

I have a set on my 997S and they are great tires. Smooth, quiet, comfort and great on the wet road. I also track my car and they feel strong and really grip the track. The only thing is they do wear out fast if you are a crazy driver. When I am ready I will be getting another set. You can't beat a set of tires for a Porache for $800 installed.

I have been running them on my 98 BMW M Roadster for the past four months, about 2000 miles in total. This car does not get pushed very hard, but I have been very happy with the tires for their price. They are grippy and quiet. Not enough mileage to get any idea on how long they will last. I typically get 20k out of a set of fronts and 10k out of a set of rears on this car.

Bumping an old thread...

Anyone use these for track days? Wondering how these do in DEs. I hear the sidewalls are soft.

I had a set of these tires on my Audi RS4. For the price, you cant beat them. They were great for daily driving and long distance. Quiet and handled well, although I never taken the car to the track. I got about 20K miles out of them, not sure if this is normal

On my 99 C2... about 200miles. I like 'em so far. Not a track guy, but, aggressive driver nonetheless. I am certainly no Schumacher so my talent is limited....but I think these are one of the better tires I have driven on. I've been on yokohama's, bridgesones, toyo's and michelins in the past...on different cars though... Integra type r, Audi S4, Cadillac CTS-V, G8 GXP.

No...again only 200 mile on them so far, but, on ramps and off ramps, the tires seem to lay into the sidewalls very gradual, and tires feel set and planted... Doesn't feel like I am folding the tire over or anything... Now the car is lowered on H&R's and the rear camber looks pretty agressive, maybe this has something to do with it as well.
