For those of you with CCWs...

Can someone give me a subjective description of Competition Grey? I have seen many pictures and they all vary in shades of grey because of camera irregularities. Is the color very dark? Is there someone that can post a pic that is really representative of the color. I am really swinging between Satin Black and Competition Grey...but I need some description!!

Thanks guys
Best
G

Here's a good pic of our car with the bright grey wheels. (CCW calls is "bright grey") The photo is pretty accurate.

How much darker is the Competition Grey? Have you seen one in the flesh?

The C10s fit the 997 lines so nicely - beautiful!

is the surface sand blasted first then anodized? It has a rough surface on the taop of the spokes, but looks smooth on the side of the spoke.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure how they do it. You are correct, though, the spokes do have a texture to them.

They are shot peened then anodized. That is the same finish on my CCW Classics but mine are flat black.

There are images of competition grey wheels in the CCW gallery. If you go to their gallery and search on Dodge Challenger, all the cars with T1000 wheels are competition grey powder coat. Though the wheels have polished lips, which is a pain to do.
