Used Michelin PS2 vs new Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110

I am looking for some tires for my 19" wheels on 2006 C2s.

and just came out the the question.

I found some ps2s on ebay with about 60~70% tread left about for $500.

and Hankook v12 is about $750 for brand new.

I do not track it, and it's weekend toy.

which one will be better choice for me?

Cool

I'd get the Hankooks.

They beat the PS2's in almost every test in the Car & Driver comparison.

Buy the new ones. You never know what you get on ebay.

i have the hankooks and 2000k miles later the car still feels scary after a 100+ feels like the rim is dancing in the tire.. imo i would never get these tires again!! pay a few bucks more and get the originals IMO.. GL

The Hankooks do have a more open tread design with smaller treadblocks. The result is the "squirm" he refers to. Some don't mind it, some hate it. The Hankooks are better in the rain though, as a result.

Tradeoffs......
