Tire replacement/Protecting Rims

My 997's tires need replacing, and I want to avoid the dealer now that my warranty is expired. I understand that the rims can be damaged using standard equipment. What type of equipment does the shop need to properly mount tires on Porsche rims?

TOUCHLESS tire mounting machine. Most BMW shops use them already. They are really good. They push down and up on the rubber and never touch the rim edges.
