Question Powdercoat? Yes or no?

Thinking about powdercoating a set of Maya 251 (22s). Its will be put on a Range Rover HSE.

My question is... I've heard many bad things about powdercoating wheels but mainly on cars that go at insane speeds, not sure if it still applies to SUVs ...
Is it safe to do it?

DynamicMotoring is infamous around these parts
If you want a really clean look, get them painted. You can have them sanded to a mirror finish and then polished.

But if you want to go the powdercoat route, you can do it safely. Ive heard people talk about the heat causing problems with the wheels, and its just a myth. The only effect I can think of is if you had multi-piece wheels, the heat might mess with the silicone sealant between the pieces, possibly causing air leaks.
