Number one

British luxury car brand Bentley does not do average by anyone's standards. The brand’s latest Flying Spur encapsulates all that is revered about the fine tradition of true luxury motoring. Proudly British and traditional

So, what makes this First Edition Flying Spur special? Aren’t all Bentley limousines inherently special? Well, yes but let us explain. The British luxury carmaker has a workforce exquisitely skilled in the art of exquisite custom fabrication. And as such, Bentley can produce vehicles to an especially high degree of opulence. And with the Flying Spur First Edition, there are many details which make it a touch different and worth a bit of your time.

First among equals

To remind you of its special status, each time you enter the Flying Spur First Edition, you'll be greeted by custom treadplates. Milled and detailed from the finest metal with absolute precision and a commitment to quality, these custom tread plates are another symbol of what Bentley craftsmanship is. In a time of mass production and automated manufacturing, Bentley still prefers to assemble and build mostly by hand.

Up and down at the push of a button

With its Flying Spur First Edition, Bentley has standardized many of its optional features. On the hood is Bently's new (but old) Flying B ornament that dates back over 90 years to when it first appeared on a 1930 8 Litre. Back then the flat B was standard and the flying version was an option. Years later, hood ornament popularity waned and Bentley scrapped the Flying B.  The Flying B can electronically retract when you park or are planning to drive at speed to reduce the amount of drag.

More comfy than your lounge

The seats are brilliantly cushioned featuring hand-stitching that ensures both great comfort for passengers and excellent longevity. And there are more hide color and cabin trim options that you could imagine which allows each Flying Spur customer to build a custom cabin that is truly unique and their own.

A great place to drive all day

At the helm, Bentley’s Flying Spur delivers a very convincing blend of design and ergonomics. The British marque manages to detail its driving environment with the very best natural materials and metals. An array of driver assistance systems also ensure that your experience piloting the Flying Spur is always rewarding, and never burdensome.

Supercar speed with limousine comfort

Beyond the custom Union Jack details on the interior and better standard spec equipment, the Flying Spur First Edition is still a hugely convincing grand tourer. Mechanically, it is powered by Bentley’s 6-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine, which boasts 626hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. Riding on an all-wheel-drive platform, those numbers convert a 0-60mph time in just 3.7 seconds. The First Edition, which is available until June of 2020, also differs from other Flying Spur models by rolling Bentley’s big 22-inch Mulliner specification alloy wheels as standard.
