Devour corners

There are many great 911s, but if you want to go faster and corner flatter than any other, there is only one: GT2 RS Clubsport. Limited to only 200 units and built for racing, these 911s are the choice for those who like their aero effective and outrageous.

Ready for Downforce?

And the defining feature of this Porsche is its aero. Forget about subtle winglets or diffuser elements. The 911 GT2 RS Clubsport wears its wing with pride - and what a monumental piece of aero it is.

Lots of power and gears

In terms of powertrain, this track-focused 911 GT2 RS Clubsport does not differ much from the 911 GT2 RS road car. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine, which boasts 700hp. That power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Most can only follow

Porsche's 911 has always had one distinct advantage over its rivals: a rear-axle weight bias, due to the unique engine location. Having its engine in the back enables terrific mid-corner traction. To help this radical 911 achieve better balance into corners, the huge fixed rear wing adds downforce to the rear axle to keep it planted, even under extreme braking.

Pure time attack machine inside

Inside the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport you get additional steel tubular safety structure, a lot of carbon-fiber and a proper race-specification digital instrumentation display. The steering wheel also sacrifices the top bit of its rim. All data logging is done via Cosworth's ICD system and amazingly, this racing car does retain its road-going sibling's air-conditioning.

It wants to go fast - anywhere

Porsche offers its 911 GT2 RS Clubsport with a simply fabulous color scheme option, by reinterpreting the brand's classic Martini graphics. Capable of 0-60mph in 2.7 seconds and geared for a true top speed of 211mph, that rear wing is sure to get a proper workout and prove its purpose at any track day a 911 GT2 RS attends.

Dominates any track it enters

To most, a massive rear wing would be a hinderance - creating too much drag and debiting their driving experience. But with some of the finest aerodynamicists in the business, Porsche has crafted an entirely appropriate extreme aero solution for the 911 GT2 RS. If you want a more accessible way to enjoy to 700hp without fear of having the rear-end unpredictably breaking away, we don't know of anything better than the 911 GT2 RS. For those interested in this track monster, Porsche has set the starting price at just under $480,000.
