Beauty and Proportion
The DBS Superleggera's beautiful proportions pair well with the ultra streamlined design of the Concorde. Both are sleek and sexy and the two shown here together, make for quite the duo.
Boldly Accented
A large red accent follows the roofline of the DBS and is pulled tight as it concludes towards the rear of the car. This gives the DBS some added line tension which conveys a sense of speed, even as it sits. Just one of many details that make for a perfect homage to the supersonic Concorde.
Bespoke Interior
Elegance and style are cornerstones here as the DBS's interior is displayed centerstage. Concorde logos on the headrests and special graphics on the Alcantara headliner are both designed to celebrate the achievements of the Concorde. Seatbelt buckles milled from solid aluminum and bespoke still plaques top off this interior and give it a true sense of occasion.
Crafted Details
A slick Aston Martin gauge cluster is seen here just beyond a fine leather-wrapped steering wheel. Buttons and controls are strategically placed to keep the driver focused on the road. Paddle shifters milled from the actual titanium of the Concorde's compressor blades ensure this homage literally has a piece of the Concorde at the fingertips of the driver.
Ready for Flight
A Concorde insignia rests atop the DBS Superleggera Concorde Edition in graphic form. It's set off by a black tinted, carbon fiber roof and make this car look even more lightweight. Clean, direction lines all pointing forward, indicate that much like the Concorde, this DBS is ready for take-off.
A Fitting Homage
A British colored set of Aston Martin wings makes its way onto the hood as yet another bespoke element, while the large black mesh grill of the DBS Superleggera sits, unchanged. Beneath the hood lies Aston Martin's ever-potent twin-turbo V-12, good for 725 horsepower and an impressive top speed of 211 miles per hour.
Proud Livery
A proud British livery is seen here on the DBS Superleggera. The famous British Airlines colors and graphics are neatly wrapped around the aero blade and rear diffuser concluding this special edition DBS, making it a worthy tribute to the Concorde.
